On Thursday 20th February, Andrew Seymour and John Lane from Terrain Surveys demonstrated the quality of video and 3D laser scan image captured when surveying buildings and landscapes using a drone.
Andrew demonstrated how, within minutes, a drone surveyed the entire roof and structure of St Albans Cathedral to produce a detailed a 3D point cloud showing every brick and pane of glass.
